David and Axel have arrived from the Pare mountains, and are together with Mathilde and Tichafa enjoying paella with crab caught with the crab-trap from Valère.

By the way; this is the first time Tichafa has tasted crabmeat!

Valère has made a bamboo crabtrap for catchment in the lagoon, which we hope will bring some nice crabmeat on the menu!

Last week we had a young visitor on RK, which we hope to keep as fearsome watchdog! He is called Rafiki by us ( friend )

Last week Mathilde and Valère joined us as WWOOFers on Ras Kisimani. Valère has good fishing skills to teach us, and Mathilde is a good cook, when arriving from Dar es Salaam Tichafa was given a wellcome cake baked on site!
